As many of you probably know, Kanai Sensei had a knee operation late last year.
He is steadily improving, and will again be teaching at his dojo and at
seminars starting in May.
Toronto Aikikai would like to invite you to participate in a Fund Raising Seminar for
Kanai Sensei, instructed by Claude Berthiaume Shidoin, 6th dan, Chief
Instructor of Aikido de la Montagne, on Saturday March 10 and Sunday March 11, 2001.
The seminar is open to practitioners of all levels, especially beginners.
The seminar will take place at the dojo, and the tentative class schedule is as follows:

All proceeds from the seminar will be forwarded to Kanai Sensei.
If you can not participate in the seminar but would like to make a donation, you can do so
by sending a check or money order to Toronto Aikikai. If it is in Canadian funds, please make
it payable to the order of Toronto Aikikai; if it is in US funds, please make it payable to the
order of New England Aikikai.
If you are coming from out of town and need a place to stay, please let us
know well in advance so we can make accommodation arrangements with our
students for you. Should we run out of space at our students' homes, here
