Toronto Aikikai invites you to an Aikido seminar instructed by
Nelson Requena Shidoin, 6th dan, Chief Instructor of Venezuela Aikikai, and
Robert Zimmermann Shidoin, 6th dan, Chief Instructor of Toronto Aikikai.
Nelson Requena Sensei is the Chief Instructor of Venezuela Aikikai, an organization with 22
associated dojos and 1200 members. He started practicing Aikido in 1973 and is a retired officer
from the Venezuelan Navy. In addition to leading Venezuela Aikikai, he teaches Aikido to
Law Enforcement agencies.
The seminar is open to beginning as well as advanced practitioners, and will focus on basic
Aikido techniques, bokken, jo, and police arrest and restraint applications.

please let us know well in advance so we can make accommodation arrangements with our students for you.
