The eighth annual Toronto Aikikai BBQ is finally here!!

WHEN: This Saturday, August 11 2007, starting at about 4:00 pm (after classes).

WHERE: At David and Petrina's, 21 Highvale Road, Scarborough, (647) 204-3761. Click here for a Google map.

DIRECTIONS:

Nearest intersection: Pharmacy and St. Clair; south of St. Clair, east of Pharmacy.

By TTC: Go to the Warden subway station, walk on the south side of St. Clair heading west, past Warden Woods. Walk up the hill to Heron Ave and turn left (south). Walk past the cemetery to Nancy Ave and turn right (west). Walk a short block to Highvale and turn left (south). The fun is at number 21.

Driving: One basic route option of many: take Danforth to Pharmacy Ave, north on Pharmacy to Nancy Ave, east on Nancy to Highvale and south on Highvale to number 21.

PARKING: There's plenty of parking on the street.

FOOD / DRINKS: It's potluck, so feel free to be creative, but keep it BBQ oriented. Check the list that will be posted on the bulletin board so we have a variety of foods.

ENTERTAINMENT and VIDEOS: We'll have some classical Aikido videos, videos of recent tests and maybe a surprise, involving a blindfold, a watermelon and a bokken. Also, if you have some funny videos or DVDs (Aikido related or not) please bring them along.
