Hello,
Toronto Aikikai would like to invite you to participate an Iaido Open Clinic.
CLINIC DESCRIPTION
Open to Iaido practitioners of all-levels and to complete novices.
Body mechanics and principles based on the teachings of Mitsunari Kanai Shihan.
Exercises to improve drawing, cutting, and sheathing.
Detailed study of Toyama Ryu.
Free trial class dedicated to those who are interested in experiencing Iaido practice for the first time.
LOCATION
Although originally planned to take place at the University of Toronto's Hart House Gymnasium starting at 1:00 pm,
due to circumstances beyond our control the Clinic will take place at Toronto Aikikai
starting at 1:30 pm.

Saturday May 11, 2024 from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

2:45 pm – 4:00 pm - Toyama Ryu - First part - Y. Cuevas
4:15 pm – 5:30 pm - Toyama Ryu - Second part - R. Zimmermann
4:15 pm – 5:30 pm - Trial class + Q&A - E. Lavigne
SWORDS
Bring your own sword (iaito) if you have one.
Please reply to this email after you register if you will need a sword.
Swords will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis to those who don't have their own.
Early registration is encouraged.
REVISED FEE
No cost.
